Marelle Communications wins the press relations mandate for the Cirque du Soleil Tribute Series at the Cogeco Amphitheatre

The Cogeco Amphitheatre has chosen Marelle Communications to manage its public relations the ninth edition of the Tribute Series, an exclusive event at the Cogeco Amphitheatre. From July 16 to August 16, 2025, the Tribute Series will open with THE UNCOUCHABLES, a show celebrating the musical universe of legendary Quebec singer-songwriter Daniel Bélanger. The agency will implement a public relations strategy aimed at maximizing the visibility of this event, which pays tribute to the artist through a unique immersive experience.

A unique experience of meeting music and circus arts

Developed exclusively for theCogeco Amphitheater, this new production is a cosmic journey between dream and reality, transporting spectators into an immersive musical insomnia in the heart of the creative universe of Daniel Bélanger. Since his arrival in 1992 with the solo album Insomniacs have funDaniel Bélanger has more than 80 awards, 12 albums, and 150 songs. His work, which has influenced several generations, will guide the audience on a nocturnal journey where the richness of his musical repertoire will blend with the world of Cirque du Soleil.

Daniel Bélanger welcomes with emotion this creation which revisits his universe:

“What can I expect… what surprises are in store for me… What I do know is how glued to my seat I will be, as intimidated as I am conquered, pinching myself for being the chosen one for these great solar frescoes of which only the Cirque is capable. I can’t wait for the premiere!”

Several numbers will be presented for the very first time in Quebec and adapted specifically for the show at the Cogeco Amphitheatre. Nicolas Boivin-Gravel with acrobatic direction promises surprising numbers that will immerse spectators in the fantastic world of Daniel Bélanger.

For the very first time, Marie-Eve Milot will direct a Cirque du Soleil show. A director, actress, and writer, she has several years of expertise in the field. She has directed around fifteen theater productions, including Faire la mort (Espace Go), Mama et Docteure (Duceppe), and Clandestines (Centre du Théâtre d'aujourd'hui). As an actress, she has appeared in more than twenty plays and several television series, such as 5e rang and Les pays d'en haut.

For her part, with more than 15 years of experience at Cirque du Soleil, Julie Castonguay will lead the creation of this ninth edition of the Tribute Series. She has contributed to major projects such as VITORI in Malta and STELLAR, VISION, MATER NATURA and STORIA in Andorra, as well as collaborations with Moment Factory, C2MTL, Mutek and Piknic Électronik.

After working with Pierre Lapointe, Betty Bonifassi, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Lauryn Hill, Ariane Moffatt and Daniel Bélanger, Jean-Phi Goncalves returns as musical director of the Cirque du Soleil Tribute Series for a 7th performance. More than 12 songs from the musical repertoire will be reworked and integrated into the show, including Sèche tes pleurs, Spoutnik and Rêver mieux.

20 dates will be offered from Wednesday to Saturday from July 16 to August 16.
